Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kannakaredes is a native of New York City. She has played Dr. Sydney Hansen (NBC) as well as the character Dr. Lane Hunter (The Resident), both medical dramas, on television. She was also recognized by her debut on television as Eleni Andros cooper on the soap opera of CBS Guiding Light. Her notable film appearances include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly developing a movie adaptation of the writer's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides, the team who wrote the movie Immortals.
