Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actress who has been praised for her lead roles in numerous television series and also for her powerful acting in films. There is a huge fanbase on American and Canadian TV. Emily started acting when she was 12 after she had a visit with her elder sister Katie in one of Katie's films. As soon as she realized that acting was her love, she began taking acting classes and attend auditions. After some commercials, which were successful, she was quickly cast in the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You scared of Dark? The only part she had was a silent one. When she was 15 years old, she made her breakthrough as she was part of the WB program Glory Days. Emily's acting caught Greg Berlanti's eye, despite the fact that the show ended with just nine episodes. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular on Everwood. Emily is also a dancer as well as a photographer. She was named as one of the top 20 teens' actresses. Maxim's Hot 100 for 2014 listed her at number 51.
